Content Flow is a Chrome extension for OnlyFans and Fansly creators. It opens in a side panel next to your chats, drafts replies in your voice and places them in the chat box, where you review and send them yourself. This guide walks you through installing it, starting a trial or activating a plan, connecting your AI and writing your first draft.
It is written by the Content Flow team about our own product and follows the setup guide built into the extension. Button names and screens can change slightly between versions.
What you need before you start
- A desktop browser: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Brave on a computer. Content Flow is a browser extension, so it does not run on phones, tablets or in the OnlyFans app.
- Your creator account: an OnlyFans account, a Fansly account or both, logged in in that browser.
- An email address: your trial or plan is linked to it.
- An API key, only for some plans: the OnlyFans, Fansly and Bundle plans use your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI. You can add it after installing. The Pro plan and the free trial work without one.
Install Content Flow and open the side panel
1. Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store
Open the Content Flow listing on the Chrome Web Store in the browser you work in and add the extension. Before it installs, the browser lists the permissions it requests. Content Flow needs access to onlyfans.com and fansly.com to read the chats you work on, add its buttons and insert text (on OnlyFans it also reads chat and purchase data for the Inbox and fan profiles), to the APIs of Anthropic, OpenAI and xAI for drafts, and to the Content Flow server for your license, AI credits and the data described in our privacy policy.
If the store says the item is not available or asks you to sign in, sign in to your Google account in that browser and open the link again. The listing may only be visible to signed-in visitors. In Microsoft Edge, you may first be asked to allow extensions from other stores.
2. Pin the icon
Click the puzzle-piece icon (Extensions) in the toolbar, then the pin next to Content Flow. The icon now stays visible in your toolbar, so you can open the panel with one click whenever you work.
3. Open OnlyFans or Fansly
Go to onlyfans.com or fansly.com and log in as usual. If the site was already open while you installed, reload that tab once (F5). Part of Content Flow runs inside the page, such as the copy buttons on fan messages, and it only loads together with the page.
4. Open the side panel
Click the Content Flow icon. The side panel opens on the right side of the window. The first time, it shows the activation screen.
Start the free trial or activate a plan
Content Flow is unlocked with your email address. The activation screen gives you two options.
Option A: the 3-day free trial without a card
Type your email into the email field, then click Start 3-day free trial, no credit card. You get full access for three days with 100 AI credits included, so you do not need an API key during the trial. There is one trial per email and device. When it ends, choose a plan to continue; buy it with the same email and what you set up stays in place.
Option B: activate a plan you bought
You can buy a plan in the pricing section. Plans bought through checkout also start with a 3-day trial; a card is required there and you can cancel before it ends.
To activate, enter the email you used at checkout under Already have a license? and click Activate. The extension may send a code to that email to confirm the license is yours. Type it into the code field and click Confirm. If no code arrives, check your spam folder, wait a minute and click Resend code, then use the newest code.
Each plan covers specific platforms: the OnlyFans plan covers OnlyFans, the Fansly plan covers Fansly, and Bundle, Pro and the free trial cover both. If you open a platform your plan does not include, the panel shows a notice with an upgrade option.
Connect your AI
OnlyFans, Fansly and Bundle plans: add your API key
These plans are BYOK (bring your own key). After activation, the Set up your AI screen appears:
- Choose your provider: Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Grok (xAI).
- Paste your API key. The link below the field opens the provider's page for creating a key.
- Click Save & continue. Content Flow checks the key with a test request before saving it.
No key yet? Click Skip for now and add it later: open Settings in the side panel, paste the key into the matching field and click the test button, for example Test Claude connection. Our API setup guide shows how to create a key with each provider.
The key is saved in the extension's storage in your browser. Your AI provider bills API usage separately, and the cost depends on the model, the message length and how many drafts you generate. A subscription to an AI chat app does not necessarily include API usage, so check the provider's billing page.
Pro plan: nothing to set up
Pro includes the AI, so there is no key to add and no setup screen. You get 1,000 AI credits per month, the panel shows your remaining credits, and if one AI provider has an outage, Content Flow automatically switches to the other.
Your first steps after setup
Tell the AI how you write
On first launch, Content Flow opens a creator onboarding with questions about your persona, how you text and what you sell. Specific, honest answers make the drafts sound more like you, so take your time with it. You can edit your answers later in Settings.
Draft your first reply (OnlyFans and Fansly)
- Open a chat with a fan.
- Hover over one of the fan's messages and click the small 📋 button that appears. The conversation loads into the Context tab of the side panel.
- Add an instruction if you like, for example the facts the reply should use, and generate a draft.
- Edit the draft and click Insert to place it in the chat box. Check it once more, then send it yourself.
Content Flow never sends a message by itself. It only places text in the chat box. Working mainly on Fansly? The Fansly AI assistant guide shows a review-first reply workflow step by step.
Work through waiting chats with the Inbox (OnlyFans only)
On OnlyFans, open your chats, switch to the Inbox tab and click Scan inbox. You get a queue of fans waiting for an answer. Click Review on a fan, and Content Flow opens that chat and drafts a reply that you edit, insert and send. The Inbox Assistant guide explains the queue and the automatic fan profiles in detail.
Find the other tools
The side panel also has Snippets, the AI Assistant, the Translator, Replies, Titles, the PPV text generator, Fans for your own notes, and Settings. The book icon at the top of the panel opens the built-in guide. The panel is in English by default; you can switch it to German in Settings under Language.

Troubleshooting
The side panel does not open
Check that Content Flow is switched on in your browser's extensions page (chrome://extensions, edge://extensions or brave://extensions) and that you are using a desktop browser. Then click the pinned icon again. If it is not pinned, open it from the puzzle-piece menu.
No copy buttons on OnlyFans or Fansly
Reload the OnlyFans or Fansly tab (F5) after installing or updating the extension, and make sure you are logged in. Part of Content Flow runs inside the page and only refreshes together with the page. Copy buttons only appear once your trial or plan is active and covers that platform; the OnlyFans plan does not include Fansly, and the Fansly plan does not include OnlyFans.
“No license found for this email”
Enter the exact email you used at checkout. If you have not bought a plan yet, start the free trial instead.
The activation code does not arrive
Check your spam folder, wait a minute and click Resend code. Always use the newest code, because older codes expire.
The panel says your platform is not included
Your plan covers the other platform. The Bundle and Pro plans cover both OnlyFans and Fansly.
The API key is rejected
Check for spaces at the start or end of the key, make sure it matches the selected provider and that your provider account has credit, then test the connection again.
